Last night we screened Philomena, a thought provoking comedy with some very serious undertones about a woman’s fifty year search for her son who was taken from her as a child.
Eighteen villagers attended to see the film and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. If you haven’t been to one of our cinema nights yet then you should consider coming along. We lay out the hall into a mini cinema. We usually use the downstairs room, blacked out, and project the film onto the East wall. We use the PA system for the sound so you get a real cinema experience. The bar is open for refreshments before, after and during the intermission.
We show both adult films and childrens’ films so check here regularly for details of upcoming shows.
