Billingley village is situated in the Dearne Valley of South Yorkshire close to the village of Darfield. It is a delightful conservation village of about 79 houses and 145 residents.
The brand new village hall was converted from a historic barn/cart store, It is run and operated by village residents who formed a management company that is a registered charity (Billingley Village Community Association Ltd.). Billingley Parish Council
The Parish Council is the local government organisation for Billingley, falling under the umbrella of Barnsley MBC . The two organisations are quite separate, but you can find news from the Parish Council, and minutes of their meetings by selecting the their page on the site.
